I haven't blogged for a while, so while I had a spare few minutes in my busy (not so busy) lifestyle I thought I'd have a catch up with one of the more interesting things that happened to me last week.
Wednesday 7th- It was my housemate, Kirsty's, birthday today, so after wrapping her gifts up in old pages from magazines, (students can't afford wrapping paper) we all headed to her room to wish her a happy birthday.
The day passed quickly and it soon became time to start getting ready for the night ahead.
We headed over to the boys flat next door and Kirsty's birthday celebrations began.
It got to about half 12 when we decided to leave for the SU (fun...not).
Everyone else was stumbling ahead, whilst me (being my respectable self) hadn't drank a lot so stayed behind to help the struggling Kirsty stumble along, arm in arm with myself, while her boyfriend took the lead.
After both tripping and falling to the floor, I unfortunately went face first and hit my mouth on the pavement, causing my front tooth to break in half diagonally....
...Attractive, I know!
So, after hysterically screaming and many panic attacks later, my Mum and Dad arrived to take my home at about 2:30am.
No one knew what to do with me so ringing my parents seemed like the best option.
Thursday 8th- Mum rang a private dentist in the village first thing in the morning and luckily got me an appointment for 12pm that day.
12pm struck and 45 minutes later, I had a brand new tooth...
...And you can't even tell!!
I might not be able to eat properly for a month, and might have to drink through straws, but I have never been so relieved to have a fake tooth!
